So I'm Gonna Try it Again!

Alright, its about that time to start a blog again. This will now not only let you guys know what shows I go to, but also what has been going on in my studio. This will let all of my friends who aren't in cincinnati with me right now keep up with my work and art adventures. Phew, this is going to be a challenge, but worth it I think.
So, for starters, here are the shows I have been working on at the DAAP Galleries.

and

inFormed is a great show for UC. As far as a mix of design and fine art the curating couldn't be better. These objects are all used to make other things including, Jigs, Molds, and other devices that are used in production. It is great to see the intrinsic beauty of these contraptions that usually never leave the shop or studio. It was good for my aesthetic soul to see them in a gallery setting.
I encourage everyone to go see it at the Meyers Gallery, and there were waffles at the opening, which is always a good idea.

As far as the Donald Deskey show goes at the Reed, its the perfect show for those who love to read text and see wall vinyls. Bring your magnifying glass for the photos as well. Show highlights among the gallery attendants: a video of a myriad of old men who will tell you all about Desky and a really old package of pink Charmin toilet paper.
