I went to the zodiac the other night to see baltimore area hip hop artist height. It was really fun. opening for him and his friends were this guy named gavin. gavin was a hilarious hip hop artist who had songs with chose your own adventure type narratives with audience participation, and heartfelt love songs he should give to peter cetera.
Also playing were nuclear power pants, and benjamin split his head open. head banging too hard i guess. being a bad ass.
Height went on last and it was great. He had some great beats and serious lyrics (with out being political) which i appreciated. I appreciated too that they were all dressed up. I was disappointed though, that no one was dancing. There were a lot of people there, with no dancing.
It is strange going to these concert and shows, where everyone know each other, and being a single group of girls there among all the men. You wonder what people think. lets see what happens next.
